General Description
Here, at the Almar House B&B, our goal is to offer our guest’s classic, comfortable accommodation at an affordable rate.
Our Georgian-style home, nestled on a 1/4 acre of land, is located right in the Old Historic District steps away from Niagara-on-the-Lakes main attractions including the Shaw Festival Theatre, the Main Historic Street, wineries, golf, the historic fort and a host of restaurants, shops, museums and art galleries.
Our home features 2 Queen and 1 King Room each with their own private ensuite and TV/DVD. The spacious Tarah King Room can also be converted to a Twin and has an extra bed to accommodate three people - perfect for a family or group traveling together. The Gabriella Room is romantic in its own right featuring a four poster bed. The Elizabeth Queen Room is both cozy and charming.
Here, you will start your day with a delicious breakfast consisting of fresh seasonal fruit, home-baked goods and a hot gourmet entree. Menu items include Baked French Toast a la Crème Caramel, Specialty Frittatas, Belgian Waffle, Eggs Benedict and other savory delights!
Our Guest Lounge, located on the bedroom level, is fully equipped with a fridge, reading material, DVD's, games and snacks and is always open for your convenience.
Outside, you can enjoy our lovely outdoor sitting area surrounded by gardens and a fountain. Also, there is on-site parking and complimentary bicycles. We speak both English and French.
We love our home and enjoy sharing it with others even more. Let us help to make your stay as comfortable, enjoyable and relaxing as possible.

Breakfast
The B&B Breakfast is an 'experience'. Guests from all over the world gather in the main dining area to enjoy some food, fun and laughter. We serve a hosts of delicious dishes including fresh seasonal fruits, home-baked goods and gourmet hot entree's. Menu items include Baked French Toast a la Creme Caramel, Specialty Fritattas, Belgian Waffle, Eggs Benedict and other savoury delights!
Please note: We will happily accomodate any eating/dietary restrictions you may have.

Follow the QEW towards Niagara. Exit Niagara-on-the-Lake (Hwy 55). Follow signs to Niagara-on-the-Lake on Hwy 55 (apporximately 15 minutes). After passing through the town of Virgil you will reach Mary St. Turn left at the lights on Mary St. Arrive 339 Mary St.
From the U.S.A. to Niagara-on-the Lake.
Follow the QEW towards TORONTO. Exit 38 to Highway #55 (one exit after Mountain St Exit). Follow signs to Niagara-on-the-Lake. You will be on Hwy 55 for approximately 15 minutes. After passing through the town of Virgil you will reach Mary St. Turn left at the lights on Mary St. Arrive 339 Mary St.
