General Description
The Historic Peter Secord House c.1782 is located in Niagara-on-the-Lake between old town and Niagara Falls, offering guests the convenience to easily travel around the area.
We are close to wineries, Shaw Festival Theatres, fine dining, Bruce Trail, golf course, Niagara Falls and USA.
This Loyalist home which is the oldest in Ontario and survived the War of 1812 has been lovingly restored, the heartpine floors, fireplaces, french doors, trim and dining room cupboard are original.
The guest bedrooms are large, private, bright and airy with queen size comfort beds, ensuite bathroom, air-conditioned, cable T.V. and tastefully furnished with period antiques.
Two suites are on the upper level, reserved exclusively for guests with private entrance and one terrace level suite (currently being restored) with ensuite/fireplace/t.v.
Guests can relax and meet with friends in the gathering room or on the verandah surrounded by perennial gardens.

Breakfast
Each morning enjoy an Early American style breakfast including seasonal Niagara fruits, home baked breads, sweets, preserves and main course. Coffee is ground just before brewing for your enjoyment and a good cup of tea is always available. Spring water is in the rooms.

From Toronto: Exit QEW for Niagara-on-the-Lake Exit#38B, turn right at second light on to York Rd. and right again at 4 way stop on to 4 mile Creek Rd. go 1 block and we are on the left.
From USA, Peace Bridge: continue on QEW for Niagara-on-the-Lake, turn right at light on to York Rd. and right again at 4 way stop on to 4 mile Creek Rd. go 1 block and we are on the left.
