General Description

Distinctive, romantic, intimate and cozy all describe our historically designated home (circa 1842), located just steps away from the town center, theatres and restaurants. A tasteful blend of Canadiana pine mixed with charming decor and lots of character. All Guest rooms include fireplaces - ensuite bathrooms - luxurious robes - cable TV/VCR, recliner. Guests also enjoy a common sitting room with fireplace and first french doors in Upper Canada, courtyard with water garden, outdoor hot tub, putting green, arbor bench swing. Private guest entrance and fridge. Creative, upscale breakfasts are standard fare, served on white linen tables for two. Cocker spaniel resides in owners’ quarters. Visa, MC, Debit & Amex accepted. 0.3 kms. from town center.

Breakfast

With over 25 yrs. of food service experience Davy House serves a wide variety of casual upscaled gourmet breakfasts on floor length white linen table cloths. Also, a buffet breakfast is made available for early morning guests including freshly baked pastries, fresh fruits, home made granola and more. We do accomodate special & nutritional requirements upon request.

We are located in the Heritage District for a short walk to theatres, shopping, dining, museums, Fort George, golf (the oldest course in North America), art galleries, wine shops, carriage rides, bike rentals & more including lunch or dinner river boat cruises or exciting jet boat tours on the Niagara River. Davy House is located at 230 Davy St. just steps from Queen/Picton Street or The Old Town Center. (.03klms just 1 1/2 blocks from the clock tower)

FROM TORONTO/HAMILTON/ST.CATHARINES:
*QEW Niagara Bound pass the Skyway Bridge over the Welland Canal
*Exit 38B Niagara-on-the-Lake / Niagara Stone Rd.
*Turn Left at the T Intersection onto York Rd.
*Turn Right at the 1st stop light onto
Airport Rd. & go approx. 2 miles
*Turn Right at the T Intersection onto Niagara Stone Rd. or HWY#55
*Follow this road for approx. 12miles (you will pass through the small town of Virgil on your way)
*Hwy#55 turns into Mississauga St.when entering Old Town
*Turn right at the T intersection onto Queen St. (visible - NOTL Golf & Country Club & Lake Ont.)
*Pass through Old Town Centre past the Clock Tower to the 4 way stop.
*Continue straight through the intersection.
*Next Right is Davy St.- turn right.
*We are located on the left hand side about 200 yards from the corner.

FROM NIAGARA FALLS NEW YORK:
*When entering into Canada via the Queenston Bridge - NEW!...take the first exit right after the toll gate on the Canadian side (approx. 1 mile)
*Take the Service Rd. back towards the Queeston Bridge to the Niagara Parkway.
*Follow the Niagara Parkway past Queenston to Niagara-on-the-Lake Old Town (approx. 15 mins)
*Note: the Niagara Parkway turns into Queens Parade just outside of Old Town then into Picton St.
*You will come to a stop sign at Wellington St., with the Festival Theatre on your left.
*Keep going straight, the first left is Davy St., turn left.
*We are located half way up the block on your left - 230 Davy St., Niagara-on-the-Lake.
