General Description Stay in your own Mansion (circa 1860) with original pine floors and high ceilings. Attractively decorated in the Moroccan style. Located a 1/2 block from the river, 1 block from shopping and restaurants. Sleeps 10: 3 queen, 2 twin beds, queen sofa bed in den Outside: Our Mansion is located 1 block from Queen street and ½ block from the lake and river. The house originally owned the property of many of our neighbors, but over the years has been reduced to 108 feet by 236 feet making it still one of the largest properties in the old town. Outside there is a Weber gas BBQ grill and two Moroccan tile tables, one on either side of the house so you can have sun or shade at any time of day. There are also 8 Muscoka chairs in the middle of the lawn and they are almost always in the sun. I love gardening so you will find lots of perennial flowers and shrubs. There is parking with lots of room for 4 cars. Inside: The mansion was built in about 1860 when high ceilings and wide baseboards were the rage. The ceilings are 11 and ½ feet and the baseboards over a foot tall, the floors are original as is much of the interior. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs, three with Queen beds one with two single beds and three bathrooms, two with shower. The main floor is devoted to living, with a large dining room, living room and library. The Library has a TV with cable and about 100 old VCR movies as well as Wi-Fi and lots of books. The kitchen has everything needed to cook a full meal including Fridge, Stove, Microwave and dishwasher. The Mudroom/laundry room has a washer and dryer that you are free to use. Rates: January to end of April: 1 day $400, 2 days 800, 3 days $900, 4 days $1,000, 5 days $1,100, 6 days $1,200, 7 days $1,300 May and June: 1 day $600, 2 days 1,200, 3 days $1500, 4 days $1,800, 5 days $2,100, 6 days $2,400, 7 days $2,700. July to October: 1 day $700, 2 days $1,400, 3 days $1,800, 4 days $2,200, 5 days $2,600, 6 days $3,000, 7 days $3,400. November and December: 1 day $550, 2 days $1,100, 3 days $1,400, 4 days $1,700, 5 days $2,000, 6 days $2,150, 7 days $2,300 2 day minumum year round except July and August and all long weekends which are 3 days Master Card and Visa accepted. 13 % HST charged on all rentals.
